Gold Padlocks are a gold FINISH, not real gold.

Gunmetal Padlocks are a pretty gray colour and also is a finish. The base metal is zinc alloy

Black Padlock is zinc alloy and coated in black finish.

Shiny Copper Padlocks are a finish on zinc alloy

Guard and Master Padlocks have chrome shanks with solid brass bodies. Chrome is hypoallergenic. Master is the best quality.
